DDW Offshore owns two modern Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels (Skandi Emerald and Skandi Peregrino) with capability to operate and support clients on a world-wide basis. The vessels are specially designed to perform anchor-handling, towing, and supply services at offshore oil and gas field.

HISTORY

In 2007, DDW Offshore was founded to own and operate a series of six anchor-handling (AHTS) to be built at Aker Yards’s shipyard in Vietnam (now Vard Vung Tau). The six vessels were delivered between 2010 and 2012 with one unit being sold to a third party upon delivery in 2010. In 2009, Akastor became 50% shareholder and owned the company together with DOF ASA. The company was in the period from 2009 to 2020 named DOF Deepwater AS.

Following DOF Deepwater debt restructuring discussions initiated with the Lenders in 2020, DOF Deepwater changed name to DDW Offshore and Akastor took full ownership of the shares in the company on October 12, 2020.

On July 24, 2023, DDW Offshore completed the sale of Skandi Saigon and Skandi Pacific to OceanPact Servicos Maritimos S.A.

On September 26, 2023, DDW Offshore AS completed a three year USD 31 million refinancing under terms agreed with EnTrust Global’s Blue Ocean Funds as lenders.

On November 12, 2025, DDW Offshore AS completed a USD 24 million refinancing of the USD31m Entrust Facility under terms agreed with Sparebank 1 Sør-Norge. The new loan agreement matures in November 2027 with one year option.

On January 14, 2026, DDW Offshore completed the sale of Skandi Atlantic for a purchase price of USD 22.75m.
