In October 2026, DDW Offshore completed the sale of its final vessel, Skandi Peregrino, marking the end of the company’s activities as an offshore vessel owner and operator.
Founded in 2007, DDW Offshore was established to take delivery of six Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels built at Aker Yards’ shipyard in Vietnam. Following a financial restructuring in 2020, Akastor became the sole shareholder of the company. Since then, DDW Offshore has operated its remaining fleet, completed a number of vessel sales, repaid its bank debt and distributed cash proceeds to its shareholder.
